From the moment I found out I was pregnant, I felt overwhelmed by a multitude of advice, stories, and expectations. The first few months were difficult with nausea and fatigue, but what struck me most was how quickly my body changed. I'd always been active, but at a certain point, I felt like my own body no longer belonged to me.

Around the sixth month, I started experiencing lower back pain and feelings of heaviness that I hadn't anticipated. My doctor recommended seeing a specialized physical therapist to prepare me for childbirth. I was skeptical at first, but it completely changed my experience. Not only did I learn exercises to relieve my pain, but the physical therapist also helped me better understand my body and prepare my pelvic floor for childbirth.
On the day of delivery, things didn't go as planned. After several hours of labor, I had to use a vacuum to help my baby come out. It was a physical and mental ordeal. But what I take away from it all is that every step, no matter how difficult, prepared me to be the mother I am today. After giving birth, I continued with pelvic floor rehabilitation, and it really helped me regain confidence in my body. If I could give one piece of advice to expectant mothers, it would be to not hesitate to get support, because it makes a real difference."
